Hi, my name is Travis I am a Louisiana native and I care about proctecting the state's biodiversity. I'm currently trying to create a small for profit company that has a unique strategy in the way it will deal with the issues of invasive wildlife.
I also intend to lead an initiative that gets people to eat invasive wildlife as well as find uses for the inedible parts of the animals like for example using invasive apple snail shells as a calicum supplements or a building ingredient in concrete.
Removing things like the environmentally destructive South American Giant Apple Snail will also have the added benefit in helping keep the cost of crawfish, rice, and freshwater fish down.
This is currently a one person endevor so any donation is greatly appreciated. Donations will be used for fuel, research supplies, and food while travelling to different parts of the state. If this proves to be successful then I will expand to every state horribly affected by non-native species in the Southeastern US.
